The Rodney Hotel is a former Georgian townhouse set in the picturesque village of Clifton, 500 metres from Avon Gorge. The 31 guestrooms are individually decorated in keeping with the period style of the property. All feature cable television, clock radios, coffee/tea makers, desks, direct dial phones, high speed access and trouser presses. Bathrooms have hair dryer and showers.
The hotel's restaurant, P.O.S.H, offers modern European food, concentrating on seasonal specialities, in a period dining room with contemporary styling and furniture. Guests can enjoy morning coffee and a complimentary newspapers by the open fire in the lobby, and relax with a drink in the comfort of the lounge bar. Conference and banqueting facilities are also available, while other practical amenities include a 24 hour front desk, nearby parking and dry cleaning services. The hotel is an excellent position for exploring Bristol and the surrounding area; 500 metres away guests can visit Brunel's famous Clifton Suspension Bridge and Avon Gorge. Just one mile away is Bristol Zoo and Gardens, and Bristol University. Bristol Airport is ten miles from the hotel, a 30 minute drive.

The Bristol International Flyer coach links runs between Bristol Temple Meads railway station, Bristol bus station and the airport. The journey time is around 30 minutes and the service runs every day, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day, every 30 minutes 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Adult single costs 4 GBP. For the hotel take the No. 8 bus (1.30 GBP) from Bristol Temple Meads to Clifton. Taxis are also available at the airport; approximate fare to hotel 20 GBP. Bristol city centre is compact and best explored on foot. There is also a good public bus network.
