The Bristol is a late 1950s hotel built into the cliffside overlooking the bay and the Campanian coast, 500 metres from the city centre. Decorated in neutral tones, the 145 air conditioned guestrooms, over nine floors, all open onto balconies and include satellite television, Internet connections (surcharge), minibars and direct dial phones. Bathrooms include hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
After breakfast, guests can bronze themselves by the outdoor pool on the top floor, taking in panoramic views of Naples Bay and the Campanian coast, or relax in the shade of the pergolas on terrace. In the afternoon, guests can stroll through the ancient olive trees in the gardens, work out in the gym or unwind with a sauna. Those visiting on business can make use of the hotel's meeting room and stay connected via public Internet access (surcharge). The hotel also offers currency exchange services, laundry facilities and room service (limited hours). Complimentary parking facilities are available on site. The Villa Jovis, the residence of the Emperor Tiberius during the final years of his reign, is 11 kilometres from the hotel. Artefacts excavated from the ancient site of Stabiae, one of the towns damaged during the AD 79 eruption of Vesuvius, can be seen at the Antiquarium, 13 kilometres away. Naples Airport is 55 kilometres from the hotel and can be reached by car in approximately one hour.

Driving Directions
|

Buses run from the airport to Naples train station, from where trains run to Sorrento. From Sorrento, taxis or buses heading towards Capo di Sorrento run to the hotel. Taxis are also available from the airport; a typical fare to the hotel is 120 EUR. Naples has an integrated bus, subway and tram system. Traffic is chaotic and driving is best avoided. Naples is a large city and although the simplest way to see it is on foot, public transport is recommended for visiting some areas.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the signs for the A3 in the direction of Salerno. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia and go straight on to Sorrento. On reaching Sorrento, follow the signs to Via Capo, and the hotel is on the left hand side.
