Location. Marmorata Village is a seven storey resort hotel with two terraced buildings overlooking the Mediterranean and is located on the northern coast of Sardinia. Olbia Airport (OLB) is 60 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.
Hotel Features. The hotel's terraces provide panoramic views out to the Mediterranean and there is an outdoor swimming pool with a children's pool, served by a poolside bar. The nearby private beach offers opportunities for sailing and windsurfing, and there are sunloungers and a beach bar. A miniature train connects all levels of the hotel and transports guests down to the beach. The hotel features shops, reading and television rooms, two bars, a piano bar, and a disco. There is a kids' club for children aged between 4 and 17, operating daily (excluding Fridays).
Restaurant Gallura serves local specialities, international dishes and features daily themed dinners and a terrace. Restaurant La Terraze offers traditional Sardinian specialities and international dishes and also has a terrace. La Griglia di Nettuno is a beach restaurant, open in the summer, featuring special fish buffets. Snacks are available at the beach and poolside bars.
The hotel has 18 tennis courts and offers sports including archery, volleyball and table tennis. Sailing, windsurfing and tennis lessons are available. There is a programme of evening entertainment for adults.
Guestrooms. The 598 guestrooms over seven floors have light decor with contemporary furnishings, balconies with sea views and include satellite television and direct dial phones. Bathrooms have showers and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. Sardinian cuisine is legendary. Look out for suckling pig either cooked on a spit (Porceddu) or cooked in a pit over aromatic wood (A Carraxiu).
