Hotel Giulio Cesare is a traditional four storey Italian hotel overlooking the Tigullio Gulf, 100 metres from a sandy beach and 500 metres from the town centre. The hotel features 33 air conditioned guestrooms furnished in a classic Italian style with light walls, tiled floors and wood furniture. Some open onto balconies with sea views and all include cable television, direct dial phones, safes, and bathrooms with baths or showers and hair dryers.
After a complimentary breakfast, guests can relax on the roof terrace and enjoy panoramic views of the Tigullio Gulf. The Giulio Cesare restaurant serves regional and international dishes in a traditional Italian dining area with large windows and white linen covered tables. It opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and house specialities include Lasagne al Pesto, Spaghetti allo Scoglio and Fritto Misto Mare. Internet access is available in reception and staff on the 24 hour front desk can offer room service and advice on sights, attractions and excursions in the area. Business guests or large groups can make use of the conference room and banqueting facilities, and those arriving by car will find garage parking available for around 10 EUR per night. The area features several seaside towns and villages to explore, including Santa Margherita Ligure, three kilometres away, the famous resort of Portofino, five kilometres away, and the charming fishing villages of Camogli and San Fruttuoso, which are both ten kilometres from the hotel. The nearest airport is Genova Cristoforo Colombo Airport, which is 25 kilometres away and can be reached by car in approximately 20 minutes.

Taxis are available from the airport and should cost in the region of 20 EUR to Genova city centre. Buses also run from the airport to Brignole and Principle Railway Stations. Rapallo is small and easily explored on foot or by scooter (available to hire at the hotel) or bicycle. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.
When driving from the airport take the motorway A12 in the direction of Livorno/La Spezia, and turn off at exit 'Rapallo' after approximately 25 kilometres (15.5 miles).
