Location. Housed in a 19th century mansion, the Romantik Hotel Locanda Don Serafino is situated in Ragusa's historic centre, within two kilometres of the train station and ten kilometres from Donnafugata Castle. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is 100 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of one hour.
Hotel Features. Multilingual staff at the Romantik Hotel Locanda Don Serafino's 24 hour front desk can organise wine tasting sessions and cooking lessons. Drinks are served in the bar and room service is also available. The hotel also has deck chairs and beach umbrellas for hire. Other amenities include airport transfers, babysitting services and complimentary parking.
The restaurant is situated 400 metres from the hotel, in the former stables of the old mansion. The menu offers traditional Sicilian dishes, accompanied by an extensive wine list, for lunch and dinner daily.
Guestrooms. The ten guestrooms have stone walls and tiled floors, juxtaposed against contemporary furnishings and fittings. Expert Tip. Ragusa Ibla's is home to the imposing Basilica of St George, whose entrance is reached by climbing a set of elegantly decorated curving stairs.

Getting there. A taxi to the hotel will cost approximately 120 EUR. Alternatively, train services run to Ragusa station.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the road SS 514 Catania Ragusa road and take the exit signposted Ragusa Ovest. On entering Ragusa, take Viale delle Americhe, then Viale Europa, then Corso Italia. Continue into Via 24 Maggio and then Corso Mazzini. Take Via della Repubblica towards the town centre, and then Via del Mercato. After about 50 metres, take the first turning on the right, into Via XI Febbraio. The hotel's car park is on the left.
