The Russott Hotel is a modern property set in landscaped gardens five kilometres from the main railway station, Mestre, and the historic centre of Venice. The 181 guestrooms, laid out over eight floors, have light decor with co ordinated fabrics and carpeting. All have climate control, high speed wireless Internet, satellite television with pay movies and direct dial phones. Bathrooms are equipped with designer toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and hair dryers.
For the business guest, the hotel offers nine meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 900 people and have projection and simultaneous translation equipment. La Fontanella Restaurant is in a light, airy room and serves traditional Venetian cuisine. El Carneval is an American style coffee shop serving fast food and snacks and the Casanova Club is a piano bar serving drinks, aperitifs and sandwiches. Guests also benefit from a regular scheduled minibus service from the hotel to Piazzale Roma in the centre of town (for a fee). The 15th century Church of Saint Job and the Torcello Museum are both five kilometres from the hotel and the Spanish Synagogue is six kilometres away. Marco Polo Venice Airport is also just five kilometres from the hotel

A regular waterboat service and water taxis run from the airport to Venice. You can either take a taxi (10/15 minutes Euro 25/30 each way) or Public bus no. 5 (15/20 minutes Euro 1 per person, each way). Venice Mestre railway station is connected to the airport by a bus service that runs every 20 minutes.
