Location. The Hotel Ermione is a three story hotel in Erice, located in a high position on the western coast of Sicily with panoramic views of the Egadi islands and the town of Trapani. Palermo Airport is 80 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of one hour.
Hotel Features. Hotel guests can relax with a drink in the lounge and access the Internet with a high speed connection. The hotel features a coffee shop and there is 24 hour room service. Conference rooms and secretarial services are available and there is free parking.
Hotel Ermione has its own restaurant which serves typical Italian and Sicilian dishes made from fresh local produce with an extensive wine list available. Views of the Mediterranean Sea can be taken in from the outdoor terrace or from the large restaurant windows.
Guestrooms. The 46 guestrooms have a simple functional design, feature balconies and are equipped with telephones, televisions and minibars. All have bathrooms with bathrobes, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers and makeup mirrors.
Expert Tip. The medieval town of Erice with its old stone streets and mountaintop fortresses is 500 metres from the hotel while lively Trapani with its cafes, bars and restaurants is 12 kilometres away. Many other ruins and monuments can be reached by taxi or hire car.

Getting there. Taxis are readily available from the arrivals terminal and cost approximately 50 EUR to get to the hotel. Alternatively, guests can take the train from the airport to Palermo railway station and then on to Trapani, 12 kilometres from the hotel. There are direct buses from Trapani station to Erice, where the hotel is located.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the A29 from Palermo to Trapani and at the exit follow signs for Erice Vetta.
