Location. The Grand Hotel Dino is located on Lake Maggiore in in Baveno, Italy. Villa Pallavicino's zoo and gardens are four kilometres away, and the Borromeo Islands are five minutes by boat. The hotel is 15 kilometres from historic Verbania. Baveno train station is 500 metres away.
Hotel Features. Set in landscaped gardens, the Grand Hotel Dino has an onsite marina and private beach. Staff at the 24 hour front desk are on hand to offer sightseeing advice or change currencies. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.
Tre Isole Restaurant offers Borromeo Island views, and serves international and Italian dishes. The elegant restaurant is decorated with crystal chandeliers. The lakeview Panorama Restaurant serves Italian cuisine in a traditional setting. The summertime Sporting Bar offers poolside meals, drinks and ice creams. Cocktails and apertifs are mixed in the hotel bar. Complimentary buffet breakfasts are available.
Meeting and conference rooms, a ballroom and a business centre are available.
The hotel has a private beach, tennis courts and two outdoor pools, including a children's pool. There is also an indoor pool and gym. Dino Health Club offers a Turkish bath, sauna, steam room and solarium. Massages can be booked in the treatment rooms.

From Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP):
Distance to Grand Hotel Dino is 45 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available from outside the airport. The average cost of the journey to Baveno is 100 120 EUR. Buses also depart for Gallarate train station where trains leave for Baveno Station, 500 metres from the hotel. Airport transport can also be arrange by the hotel (surcharge). Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is on Via Garibaldi. The immediate vicinity can be explored on foot or by bicycle. A car is recommended for visiting the further reaches of Lake Maggiore and its surroundings. Underground parking is available at the hotel (surcharge).
