Location. The Hotel Green occupies a 19th century renovated farmhouse set amid lush parkland, three kilometres from the historic centre of Assisi and 20 kilometres from Lake Trasimeno. Perugia Airport is seven kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of ten minutes.
Hotel Features. The seasonal outdoor pool is surrounded by terraces dotted with sun loungers, and drinks are served at the poolside bar. A separate kids' pool and playground are provided for younger guests. The concierge can help organise outings, and the Hotel Green's shuttle bus runs to the historic centre of Assisi three times a day. Further amenities include a small store for essential provisions, a 24 hour front desk and complimentary parking.
The Hotel Green's restaurant serves a selection of traditional Umbrian dishes , while snacks and drinks are available in the bar.
The hotel offers tennis and volleyball courts, while those wishing to explore the surrounding countryside can hire scooters and bicycles on site.
Guestrooms. The 40 guestrooms are defined by light, modern decor with simple furnishings and include televisions and bathrooms with bidets.
Expert Tip. The historic centre of Assisi is known for its impressive religious monuments: the two churches of St Francis Basilica, built one on top of the other; the 13th century Basilica di Santa Chiara; and the 14th century Rocca Magiore fortress, which offers panoramic views of the valley.

Getting there. The best way to get to the hotel from the airport is by taxi; a typical fare should cost around 15 EUR.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow directions to Assisi on the Strada Statale 147. The hotel is signposted after a few kilometres.
