Location. Set at the foot of the Kerry Mountains, Ballygarry House is a traditional country house surrounded by six acres of mature gardens and situated in Tralee, 20 kilometres from the Dingle Peninsula. Kerry Airport is seven kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.
Hotel Features. The Nadur Spa offers an oasis of relaxation with its herbal saunas, outdoor hot tubs, hydrotherapy, regenerative treatments, mud and seaweed wraps and a range of full body massages. The bar serves a selection of drinks and cocktails. The concierge can help plan sightseeing itineraries or guests can research the area using complimentary wireless Internet. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can exchange currency and free parking is available for those arriving by car.
Ballygarry House offers two dining options, Leebrook Lounge serves Irish bar food in a country house style restaurant with an open fire and a relaxed atmosphere, and the Brooks Restaurant offers modern Irish dishes in an informal dining room overlooking the gardens.
Keen golfers can take their pick from the choice of world class championship courses in the area, such as Tralee Golf Club, Ballybunion Golf Course and Castle Island Golf Club. North Kerry also boasts five of the designated Blue Flag beaches in the South West of Ireland, which include Fenit, Banna, Ballheigue and Ballybunion North and South.
Guestrooms. The 61 air conditioned guestrooms have traditional style decor with antique furnishings and luxurious fabrics. All guestrooms have cable television, CD and DVD players, VCR's, and complimentary Internet connections. Expert Tip. Five kilometres away is Blennerville Windmill, constructed in 1780 and restored today as a visitor centre, caf� and craft complex on the shores of Tralee Bay. The Dingle Peninsula, with its sandy beaches, rolling hills, hidden bays, caves and harbours, is 20 kilometres away.
