Golden Days Hotel & Studios is in the centre of a traditional Greek village, near the popular Afandou beach. This two floor family resort hotel features 41 guestrooms furnished in a modern style with light beige walls and coloured drapes. All have balconies or terraces, welcome amenities on arrival and include direct dial phones, kitchenette and fridge. Air conditioning is available for around EUR 5 per room per day.
After breakfast, guests can relax by the outdoor pool with free sun beds and sunshades and a separate pool for children. Afandou beach, with a wide choice of water sports, is a one kilometre (half mile) walk or train ride from the hotel. Staff on the 24 hour front desk can arrange airport transfers and lock valuables away in the safe deposit box. The hotel has a restaurant which serves a variety of international and Greek dishes in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. It opens for breakfast and lunch with vegetarian and children's menus available. The hotel also has two bars serving a range of international drinks. Those looking for a lively night out will find Faliraki five kilometres (three miles) away and Rhodes 20 kilometres (twelve and a half miles). More sedate trips can be made to the Valley of the Butterflies and Seven Springs (both eight kilometres). Rhodes Diagora airport is 20 kilometres (12 and a half miles) from the hotel, around 200 minutes by car.

Taxis are readily available at the terminal and airport transfers can also be arranged by the hotel. The best way to explore Afandou is on foot, and bicycles and scooters are available to hire from the hotel. A car is recommended for travelling further afield.
