The Novotel Hamburg Alster is a modern five storey hotel located two kilometres from the city centre and the main train station, and three kilometres from the Reeperbahn, Hamburg's famous entertainment district. The hotel's 210 contemporary guestrooms feature light colour schemes, modern art wall prints and modern furnishings including writing desks, coffee tables and armchairs. Taxi services to central Hamburg take approximately 30 minutes and should cost approx. 20 25 EUR to the hotel. Airport Express bus services run to the nearby Ohlsdorf U Bahn/S Bahn station every ten minutes, and to Hamburg central station non stop every 20 minutes from Terminals 1 and 4; journey time approx. 30 minutes. From the central station, take the U1 (blue line) in the direction of Wandsbek/Ohlstedt to the stop L�becker Stra�e. Exit at Alsterschwimmhalle, 50 metres from the hotel. Hamburg has an efficient and well used system that includes rapid transit and underground trains, buses and ferries.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs to Centrum and then to Elbobr�cken.
