Location. The Cove Lakeside Resort rises along the shores of Okanagan Lake in Westbank, British Columbia, Canada. One of Westbank's most popular attractions, the Gellatly Nut Farm, is located adjacent to the resort. The property is surrounded by championship golf courses, ski slopes, recreational lakes and Okanagan wineries.
Hotel Features. The Cove Lakeside Resort offers dining at the Bonfire Restaurant Bar that extends onto an outdoor terrace. The menu consists of innovative dishes enhanced with Okanagan grown produce and local wines. The Grand Reserve Room function space features expansive windows that frame Gellatly Heritage Park. French doors open onto a private patio providing a scenic setting for informal gatherings. Breakout space accommodates smaller groups. Recreational amenities include two outdoor pools with waterslides, a tennis court, a putting green, a large screen theater that seats 16 people, and a Teen Activity Centre. Lake Okanagan offers a variety of water sport activities. The resort provides a private marina and a private beach. Barbecue grills and fire pits provide a location for beachside picnics. The Spa at the Cove uses organic Aveda products and offers facials, body massages and hydrotherapy treatments. Therapies include Rosemary Mint Awakening Body Wraps, Caribbean Therapy, Moor Mud Hydrotherapy and Coconut Mango Hydrotherapy.
Guestrooms. This four story resort offers guestrooms with gourmet kitchens that boast wine refrigerators. Living rooms contain entertainment centers and 42 inch plasma televisions mounted above fireplaces. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Shuttered French doors open onto furnished balconies that afford panoramic views of Okanagan Lake or the surrounding mountainsides. Bedrooms feature designer beds, and bathrooms contain deep soaking tubs and Aveda toiletries.
Expert Tip. The Cove Marina Adventure Boat tour offers a two hour sightseeing cruise that includes Rattlesnake Island, wildlife habitats, and a wealth of local legend and folklore.
